Many shades of Truth

To replace a structure for society that has been metamorphosing since the first corporations were set up (for the ‘benefit’ of society) shouldn’t be too much of a problem for us. Making a change for the good is something that everyone can relate to, as no-one is perfect. So, in order to create a safe, comfortable, equitable society, where the products of the society are not the base human emotional weaknesses such as greed, but where the product of our efforts is balance (and therefore equality). The only way humans can live alongside each other is when there is mutual respect. For this to happen it must be made apparent to society that everyone who is part of society holds responsibility for their own actions. If we can see the beauty in ourselves, the people around us, the people of differing cultures and religions, then what we produce, i.e. what our pure actions provide, will be closer to god than ever before. Imagine a scatter graph with six billion dots drawn onto it. Each dot is a person. The scale is their input to the world, good input versus bad input. The best place to be, the place where god resides, is the line, or the balance, the link between all those people. All animals, for example, have their dots very close to the line, as most are living in harmony with their environment. Thus they have created a balance.

Think about it like this: if you drop a cigarette butt on the ground, you are moving down the graph, towards the bad and further away from the line, pick it up and put it in the bin and you move up marginally. If this can be understood then it may make us more able to critically assess the impact we have in our world, in our time. Where would you like your dot to be?

The Ying Yang symbol encompasses my feelings on most of the issues in the world. If we were to replace it for:

1. The symbol for currency – instead of money being a competition (and therefore breeding greed) money would be seen as a simple tool for survival, you get a bit, you survive and that is all it means. There would be no competing industries or companies, there would simply be people, who are working towards the overall benefit of society. We must move away from the current concept that money = happiness, and that consuming = happiness. Money is an inanimate object, consumption of goods via money is deceitful, the goods may be worth more or less than you pay, therefore money is no longer accurate (as value can relate to many, many things (environment, wages etc).

2. Our relationship with our environment – instead of the resources of the planet being seen as an opportunity to fulfil greedy desires (i.e. turning whales into profit), the environment is seen as our greatest asset – one which we cannot afford to spend in the way we do now. We would see the environment truly as what it is, complete beauty, remember we can make a concrete city on the moon, we don’t need to ruin our planet, or the chances of future human societies to live on Earth. We must spend the resources of the planet wisely if we are to survive as a race, we are already dying of cancers caused by plunging ourselves into tasks without understanding the full consequences for ourselves, our children and our environment.

3. Our relationships with other humans. We base our opinions on history and events, I propose that we base our opinions on something more solid – the balance. Every single person shares a connection with other people and their environment; I believe this connection to be a major part of god. Furthermore, god is clearly visible in other humans as well as inside yourself, oftentimes the most when you are amazed by the feats of other people. We can take these concepts and create the balance between humans and human races. We are all one race, from Indigenous, through Caucasian and Asian, Latin and all the rest, we all smile and eat and talk and sleep. Yet the one thing that makes us all the same is the fact that we are all unique. Therefore, this must be taught so that it overrides perspective (i.e. a victim of a group of people may hate anyone from that group forevermore, unless they are taught that all humans are the same, and that perspective is the only bias factor).

WE ARE NOT AS CLEVER AS WE THINK WE ARE. IF WE WERE, WE WOULD ALL WORK IN PLACES WE LIKE WITH PEOPLE WE LOVE. WE WOULD NOT FEEL HAPPY WHEN WE SPEND MONEY, WE WOULD FEEL HAPPY. WE WOULD NOT FIND IT HARD TO BREATH, WE WOULD HAVE A CLEAN ATMOSPHERE. WE WOULD BE ABLE TO STAY IN THE DIRECT SUNLIGHT FOR MORE THAN 20 MINUTES WITHOUT RISKING SKIN CANCER. WE WOULD ALREADY KNOW THE RIGHT WAY, THE TRUTH, AND I WOULD NOT BE SITTING HERE TRYING TO EXPLAIN WHAT THE TRUTH IS TO THE WORLD.

All Hail to a kickass Weekend

On Friday night the weekend started and Ben Dooley, Chris McGill and I set for the city, to see what we could see and do what we could do.

What we did do was get extraordinary drunk.

A big hello (and happy birthday to Ben Bonnet!) to Adam McDonald! Ish! And everyone else who may or may not have been at O’Malleys in my memory!

Then we went to the RG and played pool and got even more plastered. Ben got hit on by an Aboriginal chick who told him straight up to his face that she wanted to sex him up big time.

In the game of pool Ben and I played against Chris and some random fella. I sunk the first 6balls but somehow neither myself nor Ben good sink anymore and we lost L

Stumbling out of the RG and trying to make our way to the city we bumped into two strangers who gave us their tickets for a strip club a bit further up the street. Chris and I made our way in.

All was quiet and very empty, we made our way through the club and found the remaining stripper out the back in a little private room. After explaining what she could do for us Chris and I burst out laughing. Anyway… we had some drinks and….

After a couple of rounds Chris and I stumbled out of the strip club with smiles wide and bleary eyes, where to next I hear you cry? Well it’s funny you should say that because we bumped into some guy.

He had a mate called Richie who had an apartment at the point overlooking the city. So we made our way in a taxi cab back to his mates apartment that over looked the city, more drinking followed. It was a raucous night, it had everything thankyou to all the people out on Friday night what an atmosphere!!

Cut to: Waking up on Saturday morning, Jen is ready waiting to go to the doof, its about 10am. I quickly pack my stuff and pile into the back of the car still more than a tad delirious from Friday.

We got to the doof in good time and the setting was absolutely beautiful, in the middle of a rainforest the trees were alive and ready for the tribe of dancers ready to swarm.

The music kicked in around 5, but every thing else kicked in properly around 8.30.

The Rain came lashing down us, beautifully splendid cleansing rain drenched the dancers. We looked up to the sky as one, out of our mouth we held our tongues to catch a splash or two. Thanks must go to:

For about 2 hours all I could do was laugh, I was simply uncontrollable. For about half-an-hour I was laughing continuously without stopping to talk once and all the while tears of joy streamed down my face.

It was bloody beautiful.

The morning came and spirits were still soaring. I went for a last stomp in the clear morning air, patting down the already crushed mud with my feet as I danced to the beat. The DJs continued to be unreal in their quality.

We made our way home with the wind behind our backs and lightness in our hearts, thinking of the doof just gone and thinking of the times to come.

Wages Paid in Pain

At some point someone has to do something about the inequalities arising and already fully-fledged within today’s global society. In the interests of succinctness, I’ll get to the point.

The structure of society

Since human beings have walked the earth, most people have had to earn a living to survive. In the earliest years of humans this meant that we had to hunt and gather food and water in order to survive. Then we had to grow crops, work in markets, work in government and religious organizations in order to earn a wage and be able to survive. At various points in our history several different groups have held power over everyone else and have used this position to manipulate events to their liking.

Today there are two main groups of organizations that are ruling the world. The first are the banks and they hold the most control. The second are the corporations, who are financed by (and therefore directly dependant upon) the banks.

Within Western culture there has always been the firm belief that we are somehow the forerunners of morality across the globe. Unfortunately, the only groups who have any power (abovementioned) are not creating a free world, they are manipulating as many people as possible in order to ‘achieve’ the most they can.

Achievements in this system are based on monetary wealth.

These ambitions for monetary wealth have overgrown our ambitions for global ethics. Here are some interesting points to note and think about:

Anything that is born, is born equal, as all things born, die. The only difference between people is the life experience that eventuates between these two events.
By engendering a ‘work, obey, consume’ attitude, we are valuing hedonistic desires above planning for a better world. This attitude is one which assumes there is nothing wrong with the world. It also produces a string of more worrying side-effects:

A belief that no-one has the ability or prowess to create something better
A concern that the issues with society can not or should not be communicated
A psychological trap where people follow a cycle or pattern of thinking which centers around themselves, effectively rendering them dependant upon the structure of society – they cannot understand themselves as part of group dynamic, or their race as part of a bigger ecological dynamic and they cannot, therefore, be psychologically free to explore other options
A conception/ perspective concerning life which has been subtly imprinted on their minds through education and the media. It is not their own, it is not true and it is imperative that people understand they have been tricked their whole lives
Painful retribution by the few people who can see, perhaps all too clearly, what is and has happened and what is happening in the world. These people are called terrorists, an apt term to instill the greatest amount of fear possible into a society that must be kept in fear if they are to accept the actions of their government.
The life experience for each human is completely different and unique. Yet compare the roles of a CEO of a mega-corporation, to the role of a starving African or of an Indonesian factory worker in the mega-corporation. Have we created an equal society?

But anyway, enough of me trying to convince YOU GUYYYYSSS, I have to go home!

Superdrive Arrive and the poem “Desperado”

Good day everybody!

So I have started a band with my good friend Jammin Dooley (good ol’ BenJ) and we are called SUPERDRIVE (comments on the name please).

But anyway I felt like writing a poem on here today, but the formatting on this website is very poor so the form makes it a bit hard to read:

On the days when the time has stopped, Its the right of way to ask the clock, Simply seconds passing by, Never but whenever it will end….. Take the fight to the ones you love, And nightly right? It’s simply sight, That’s blinding us from what could be…. This could be love… love from you, to me… Of all the two cats in the world, With claws cut sharp to singe the hairs. And backs of necks around the globe. To raise their hair, To make them stare. But broken walls surround the floor. They’ve taken everything you’ve ever known. And brought it crashing down around you. Why can’t we just for once just live? Together for each other we will live, And I will give, you my all. And I won’t quit, I won’t stall. I won’t tire, or perspire. I will kill and I will lie. Until it’s done, until it’s done. And we couldn’t fall, for standing up. Evergreen and full of muck? Deciduous and out-of-luck? And the taste my friend is making me throw up. It’s making me think hard and maybe even grow up.

Desperado-on-the-run-and-out-of-luck. Temptation-plain-creation- It’s inside my generation. This emotional reaction to your dissatisfaction. Because I can’t live that way anymore. You just won’t be here, with me, if I don’t change. So I’m wondering, who am I again?

I am in no way defaming this organisation or any other organisation, these are simply opinions with little or no evidence, however, you will not be surprised if evidence for these things surfaces over the next few years. As for you, you should find your own belief on the matter, but study I implore you, for it is research that will provide you with an accurate opinion. If, for any reason, my beliefs and opinions should get me in trouble, REALISE that the human being, the individual in this society, is STILL, after all these years, succeptable to the superior power of corrupt groups and organisations. In the past there was the church and the monarchies, now-a-days it is the Corporations and the Governments traipsing around the world, abusing their power and responsibilities. We believe that slavery has been abolished, yet quite clearly it is still being emplyed in sweat shop factories were near starving workers earn money for fat cat corporations all over the world.

In Guantanamo Bay the United States has shown to the world that they are incapable of humanly detaining prisoners of war. This callous outburst by a 'Senior Guantanamo Bay Officiate' completely dissolves these poor mens lives, from the status which you or I would class our own lives into another opportunity to raise public fear of terrorism.

The real cause of these suicides is the ridiculous treatment of prisoners who are held indefinitely. With no chance of release in sight, unbelievably cruel treatment by wardens and fellow prisoners and with little chance of a fair trial, it is a testament to the human spirit of survival that these men did not take their lives sooner.

America has, for far too long, been far too quick to point the finger in the direction of other groups for problems they only have themselves to blame for. For example, September 11 2001 was the result of many years of aggressive foreign policy against countries who have little or nothing to do with
America. If America wants a freedom from being attacked they should stop attacking other people, manipulating or destroying other peoples’ ways of life, exploiting animal and plant life, placing trade embargoes on already debt-laden countries. There is no excuse for Americans, they have only their selves to blame for what has happened to them, and for the attitude the rest of the world has of them.

In a way it will be a shame for Guantanamo to be closed down as there is plenty of evidence that the CIA control many concentration camps, this one appears to be the only one available for media access. Once Guantanamo is gone, the US will be free to do whatever they want again, without fear of retribution from the international community.

Let us put human life above fear of death, it is much more important that three men took their own lives, than it is that another US official has the chance to point the finger at other cultures and races in order to spread fear. Why are we spreading fear on a daily basis other than to make sure George Bush stays in power?

In other news: The New Blog wil be opening very shortly, my newly formed band 'Superdrive' are on the move and new website/blog will have pictures, music and vidoes as well as a blog and lots, lots more! So don't forget to stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled. Big thanks to defeat for thinking up one of the best ideads ever – the blog dare. The move is coming up! The Devil’s Day

Hey Kids! – Be SCARED!! The date is: 06-06-06

So all these people in some crazy religious sect in America got all crazy and thought today was the end of the world so they ran away to some caves in
India a few years back and started stockpiling cans of food.

Idiots

The biggest issue we meager humans need to get over is our recognized place within our heads as beings of the centre of the universe, who are so completely blazing away in intelligence than the rest of known life; that we cannot seem to control ourselves. A microcosm of this is when growing up, it becomes easier to understand how you come across to other people, how you can effect that projection and where you fit in within your society.

Humans as a race are not doing this enough, as this is the basic first step of thought process that leads to being able to recognize and understand the place of, not just yourself, but also, your race within the local ecological structure of the planet. This has never been a popular-enough thought so as to shake our stupidity away into action. Yet if we do not act upon it we are much, much worse than the animal life we seem to feel superior over, as we have the ability to understand the world, yet we choose not to, we choose to take whatever we want.

There are no bad people or good people as long as this shameful mark remains glued to our race. Imagine if there was a different type of intelligent creature on this planet!! We’d be fucked because we’re too selfish as a race to be able to live alongside one another (or they’d be fucked because we would kill them – there we go! Back to being the best on the planet again!).

Anyway the End of the World!! Just because that’s how the calendars work?? What the hell goes on in some peoples heads?? If you want an idea when the end of the world will be, do some scientific research and you’ll get a shock… Why?? Because we have no firm idea what we are doing to this place and the affects that will/are going to come and get us. Unfortunately the one thing I have found to be true in life is that there is always a balance made, nothing is lost. Therefore, what sort of an event would balance humans unbelievable siege on the planets resources??

6.6.6. Why is that even the devils numbers anyway – what the hell is the devil when he’s at home??? Anyway, humans, apes, let’s try and carry some common sense with us everywhere we go – because at the moment we are the biggest joke of this planet by a long, long way. We fucked up big time – good luck apes!
